Architectural Design Competition for the New Entrance to the Broadcasting Tower, Düsseldorf (GER)

The idea is to activate the complete concourse level of the surrounding and intergarte it into the public space. Two new bridges and a modular, light wheight structure will give shelter and cosyness to the people.

A place for communication is created. A place for cool drinks, soft music, being together after work or at weekends.

The structure was designed with as less as possible interfaces to the tower. Only little punctual connections and neraly no foundations will be necessary. The structure, made from varnished steel and the sail fabric, will be fully recycleable.

Prefabrication, low wheight and simplicity will guarantee short construction time, low CO2 emissions at very low costs.
