The foundation stone for the C-View Offices was laid on the site of the former paper factory by Lord Mayor Thomas Geisel
Official start of the C-View Offices construction project with Lord Mayor Thomas Geisel, representatives of the project developer Rialto Capital AG and the future tenant, the Japanese company Asahi Kasei.
The foundation stone for the C-View Offices on the site of the former paper factory at Düsseldorf Harbour was laid on Monday by the client Rialto Capital AG. Lord Mayor Thomas Geisel and Hideki Kobori, President of the Japanese company Asahi Kasei and future tenant of the C-View Offices, addressed their greetings to the guests. Completion is scheduled for October 2020.
Based on our design, 4,679 square meters of modern office and commercial space will be created on three floors. The C-View offices on Fringsstraße will have a direct connection to the water. The floorplans are flexible and future-oriented. "We were able to secure a plot of land in a promising location here at the harbour of Düsseldorf," says Markus Mertens. Marc Böhnke, managing partner of greeen! architects, is pleased that this area has been rethought: "The Düsseldorf harbour has a very special charm and is an important location for local and international companies. After many years of vacancy, a property will be created here that can become a catalyst for positive urban development." Asahi Kasei and his European headquarters will move into the C-View offices at the end of 2020.
