When it comes to adding stories to buildings in urban areas, modular construction is doing a great job. Gone is the mentality of "tear down and build new." The new motto is preservation of existing buildings in the interests of CO2 savings and flexible construction. Modular buildings are expandable and can be reused in other locations after they are no longer needed.
