Contrary to the opinion of some doubters, there is hardly any sign of a slowdown in demand momentum in the major cities of central Germany. What's more, the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) sees "explosive purchase price development" in Dresden, Jena, Leipzig and Magdeburg, pointing to a "speculative component". Is Central Germany becoming a game for investors?
